A message from the Center:
The Wisner Head Start program is Goldenrod Hills Head Start's oldest locally designed project, established in 1986. It began as a home based program for twelve children. Currently, it is a center-based program with one classroom serving up to eighteen children ages 3-4 years. Four of these children attend using the federally funded dollars. Wisner Head Start is predominately funded by the Louis and Abby Faye Dinklage Foundation. It is partially federally funded and sponsored by Goldenrod Hills Community Action. The center is located South of Wisner-Pilger Elementary school, across from the Wisner Swimming pool. The center supports families in the Wisner, Beemer, and Pilger area.
