Goldenrod Hills Community Action, Inc. is committed to helping all Northeast Nebraskans maintain self-sufficiency. Our agency is a private non-profit 501(c)(3) agency that provides over 15 programs and serves over 12,000 people each year. Our mission statement is "People helping people, changing lives in Northeast Nebraska." Since 1966, Goldenrod Hills Community Action has stopped the cycle of poverty for thousands of Northeast Nebraskans who stood to lose everything over financial problems. But with your support, we could reach even more of the hard working people who need our help the most.

Families and individuals, mostly women and the elderly, try to put off groceries and medications, to juggle unexpected expenses and fixed incomes.
Many are on the edge of making it, when their car breaks down, their child needs a doctor visit or medications, their social security gets cut, or the work supervisor reduces available hours. A cart full of groceries or a utility bill becomes out of reach.
