Temporary Health Professional for the Fremont WIC Clinic   --- Posted: 04/02/2014

This position aids in the operation of the WIC Program and is responsible for nutrition education and assisting with medical screening. Medical screening includes medical assessment and growth grid on all participants. Hemoglobin checks as needed. Certify participants according to program guidelines. Refer participants to other sources as needed. Provide breastfeeding education and support to participants as needed. Maintain inventory of all medical/nutrition supplies. Maintain confidentiality of all participant information.

Qualifications: RN/LPN EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Nurse credentials from an accredited school. Nebraska Nursing Licensing. Six months to one year related experience preferred.

REGISTERED DIETICIAN EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Registered Dietician credentials from and accredited school. Nebraska Dietetics License.

NUTRITIONIST EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutritional Sciences, Community Nutrition, clinical Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health Nutrition or Home Economics/Consumer & Family Sciences with emphasis in nutrition.

Other: The work assignment is from May 12 to August 20, 2014.
The wage for a RN or RD is $18.00 per hour. The wage for a LPN or Nutritionist is $16.00 per hour. Work hours are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8:00 to 4:30.

FAMILY SERVICES AIDE for FREMONT   --- Posted: 04/02/2014

This position will be responsible for intake of information for economically disadvantaged persons and/or families in Dodge and Washington Counties. Will be responsible as front line customer service representative to greet and answer customers as they walk in, answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, take messages, refer clients to appropriate venue. Responsible for taking applications and verifications of income for program eligibility. Complete Application intake on NHAP clients, utilizing Service Point. Maintain complete and accurate records of all clients files and contacts. Maintain confidentiality of all participant information. Will assist Case Manager with preparing all reports to FS Director or Program Manager, including mileage logs, time sheets, telephone/daily logs, monthly reports and other reports deemed necessary meeting all deadlines.

Qualifications: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
Six plus months of experience in Human Services or related field preferred.
Proficient computer skills including word processing and Internet navigation.

Other: Wage is $11.00 per hour
